Uncoated Micronized Calcium Carbonate Powder — GCC
MAD KOOHZAD's Ground Calcium Carbonate (GCC) powder, with no surface coating, is produced directly from crushing and milling high-purity natural limestone. This base grade is our most economical and widely used product family, used in industries that need high pigment/resin absorption or hydrophilic behaviour — such as paint, paper, construction, and PVC.
Coated Micronized Calcium Carbonate Powder (Stearic Acid Coated) — Coated GCC
MAD KOOHZAD's coated calcium carbonate powder is treated with a stearic-acid layer on the particle surface, creating a fully hydrophobic surface compatible with non-polar polymers. This coating significantly lowers oil absorption, improves dispersion in PE/PP/PVC resins, polymers, and rubber, and allows higher filler loading without losing mechanical properties.
Surface treatment: Stearic-acid coating at 0.8 – 3.0% by weight (depending on particle fineness), applied through a dry-coating process with precise temperature and mixing-time control for uniform surface coverage.
